The agency operated by the immediate past president of ARLA Propertymark has received a government award for its work with apprentices.
Maxine Fothergill’s Amax Estates and Property Services won the award from the Department of Work and Pensions for introducing young people to the property profession.
“I fell into the property industry by chance, but now could not imagine doing anything else, and it’s the best job in the world. Most people love property, and we all need it. The estate and letting agency professions shape people’s lives while also being a dream job for those who love seeing different properties” explains Fothergill.
