It’s unheard of for an A-list star to appear in a promo video for their own real estate ad.
Baldwin is dressed casually in the video as he walks across the sand of a nearby beach before heading to the property where he reveals the changes he made to the floorplan.
The seven-bedroom, seven-bathroom estate at 335 Town Lane in Amagansett has a price guide of $US18,995,000 ($AU28,872,400). Records show it’s had a significant price cut, advertised for $US29 million ($AU44,275,750) in September 2022.
Elevator music plays in the two-minute video as Baldwin emerges on screen in winter attire.
“This place is the best,” Baldwin says, revealing how he “wanted something bigger” after purchasing a nearby cottage around seven years ago.
“I bought this house back in 1995 and put this addition on the east side of the property in 1996,” he says, pointing to the extension of the cedar shingle farmhouse.
Baldwin goes on to reveal that in 2014, he and his wife Hilaria Baldwin built an addition to the western side of the home.
“I love coming here, I’m always happiest when I come here especially this time of year. I love it in winter time because it’s so peaceful, it’s so beautiful,” he concludes.
The modern farmhouse contains seven bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and two partial bathrooms, and is on a block of 10 acres.
There is plenty of space to entertain or simply kick back and relax with equestrian facilities, a movie theatre, wine-tasting room and an outdoor pavilion with pool and spa.
As stated on the listing, there are architectural plans in place to add two bedrooms and there is room to install a tennis court.
Interiors feature rustic polished floorboards, coffered ceilings, French Doors and an eat-in kitchen is eye-catching with its statement checkerboard floor.
Scott Bradley and Michael N. Cinque of Saunders & Associates are behind the campaign.
