John Franklin has become a Partner in OC&C Strategy Consultants’ London office. The news comes alongside three other partner appointments across the advisory firm’s international presences.
Having joined as an Associate Consultant in 2011, John Franklin has spent more than 11 years with OC&C Strategy Partner’s base in the UK capital. Over the course of that extended stay, he has supported corporate client growth, transformation and customer strategies, helping clients build loyalty and lifetime value with their customers.
Founded in 1987, OC&C is a global strategy advisory firm, whose client roster includes some of the world’s most respected companies throughout the retail, consumer goods, leisure, hospitality, media, technology, industrial products and services and private equity sectors. In his new role of Partner, Franklin will focus on OC&C’s retail and leisure practice, building for its global expansion.
OC&C is currently working to help retail and leisure clients deal with a period of great uncertainty and change – however, according to a recent study from the firm, this also presents leaders with the opportunity to come out on top – particularly if they can offer up discounts and deals to cash-strapped consumers. Helping support companies to take advantage of that, Franklin will bring expertise supporting corporate client growth, having recently led the development of loyalty programmes and customer lifetime value optimisation projects for a range of retailers, travel and hospitality operators.
The promotion comes as OC&C rolls out a series of promotions across its global network of offices. In Germany, founding member of the firm’s Munich office Jan Bergmann has been named Partner, and will be responsible for continuing to build OC&C’s presence in the German market. Meanwhile, food and drink specialist Jean-Baptiste Bertrand steps into a similar role in France, and will be responsible for continuing to grow the Paris office. And in the US, new Partner Ye Chen will focus on accelerating OC&C’s TMT practice from its New York office.
