A new sporting and entertainment venue is set to open its doors in Hull.
Property consultancy Savills, on behalf of a private consortium, has secured Integrated Sports Experience (ISE) as a tenant at King William House.
ISE’s venue will combine both sports coaching and socialising. The multi-use leisure facility will offer coaching in cricket, darts and golf alongside a more social experience traditionally seen in the competitive socialising market.
The site will also house a bar and restaurant, giving visitors the opportunity to learn a new skill, have fun and enjoy meal all under one roof.
ISE has taken 19,000 sq ft on the ground floor of King William House in Hull on a ten-year lease in space formerly part occupied by Argos.
Tesco Express has also taken a circa 4,300 sq ft unit as part of the wider development, through which the former 1970s office block has been converted into 30 luxury residential apartments and a 600-space car park. There are six remaining units that are being actively marketed for complementary food and beverage offers.
Josh Howe, associate director of retail at Savills Leeds, said: “Competitive socialising has taken the leisure sector by storm in recent years and in spite of recent headwinds, is still continuing to perform particularly well with new concepts emerging and existing operators expanding their offers.
“ISE is now looking to take the market to the next level, combining the fun, social experience that we have come to love from these occupiers with world class, technology driven sports coaching. We’re delighted to have secured this deal which will see ISE open a new site in Hull, bringing an incredibly exciting new occupier to the city.”
Guy Kilner, co-founder of ISE, added: “The site at KWH is the ideal location for one of our first experience centres, with its perfect thoroughfare of foot traffic and ideal location for those travelling in to Hull. Our doors will open to the public in early 2023, offering an all-inclusive multi-sports indoor coaching academy, along with an immersive experience that everyone can feel a part of.”
