Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced on Tuesday that it has extended its partnership with Aviva, the UK-based insurance, wealth, and retirement provider, for 15 years. TCS will utilise its BaNCS platform to manage over 5.5 million policies on behalf of Aviva through its UK subsidiary, Diligenta.
The company said that, through the partnership, the end-to-end policy administration and servicing will expand to cover over 5.5 million policies and will be managed by Diligenta, TCS’ FCA-regulated subsidiary in the UK, on behalf of Aviva.
No financial details of the deal were revealed by the company.
Doug Brown, CEO Insurance, Wealth & Retirement at Aviva, expressed optimism about the extended partnership, stating, “Extending this strategic partnership will improve how we serve our customers, further simplify our operations, and support our growth ambitions. It will allow us to rationalise our systems and improve efficiency, bringing significant benefits for our customers and the business.”
The move underlines TCS’s growth in the UK, where it has operated for over 45 years and collaborates with more than 200 businesses, including British Airways and Sainsbury’s. With over 23,000 employees in the region, TCS has been rated the top IT service provider for customer satisfaction in the UK.
