Leading senior estate agency figure Peter Everett has revealed that he is returning to the ‘sharp end’ to head-up Savills’ branch in the Surrey commuter town of Rickmansworth.
This follows a stellar career for Everett, who started out in agency nearly 40 years ago in agency but who rose to senior positions both at leading sales and lettings firm but also proptech companies.
These included CFP Software, one of the industry’s property software pioneers, but also a long sting at Hamptons where he rose to be its Head of Sales.
More recently he worked for online platform Offr as well as a period as Commercial Director at Yopa plus time as a volunteer mentor for Agents Together.
He is also an accomplished guitar player and recent played at the Ideal Home exhibition to raise funds for Ukraine refugees.
Estate agency roots
“I have decided to return to my roots at the ‘sharp end’ in the marketplace where my career started,” he says.
“I’m excited to announce that next week I will be joining Savills as Head of Office in Church Street, Rickmansworth next door but one from where I had my very first interview with Weller Hill Hubble all those years ago.
“I’m looking forward to working with the highly experienced sales team including Sue Trybus who started at Wellers in the same week as me, Graeme Warren whom I have also known for a number of years and PA/Admin Nicky Mason.
“We also have Will Lindsay joining the team as an Associate. That’s around 135 years combined estate agency experience between us.”
