Samuel Estates, founded in 2004 by Nicholas Samuel, has three offices located in Balham, Streatham and Colliers Wood, with a team of over 20 people.
Samuel, the managing director of the firm, said: “I am delighted that we were introduced to Home Lets and, after an initial meeting via Zoom, it was clear we had a bond with the three partners.
“Despite offers from many other agents, Home Lets chose to sell to us. I am even more pleased that one of the Partners is going to join us, and another, despite retiring, is staying on in a consultative role to support us with any future portfolio queries we may have. Our mutual respect and trust for each other from day one was evident.”
The new merger will see the agency’s portfolio and footprint increase across South West London with a varied portfolio and new client landlords.
Alizon Monk, consultant, Home Lets partner, and Steve Streek, senior property manager, will be joining the Samuel Estates teams and continuing their roles.
As part of the merger, Samuel Estates has agreed on a seven-week period between exchange and completion, so that they can work closely with Alizon to ensure as seamless a transition as possible.
Monk commented: “It’s not every day that you meet estate agents whose passion and expertise are matched in equal measures. We instantly felt that Samuel Estates would be the perfect fit for our landlords.
“As an independent agent, it’s crucial that businesses have a strong customer-centric brand and we are confident that Samuel Estates will be the perfect partners-in-property for our client landlords.”
