Land and planning specialists Catesby Estates and property agents Carter Jonas have successfully completed the sale of a 8.5 acre site in Marcham, Oxfordshire to developer Bloor Homes.
The Vale of White Horse District Council Planning Committee followed the Planning Officer’s recommendation for approval and resolved to grant outline planning permission for up to 90 new homes in late 2021.
The site lies on the south-east edge of Marcham to the south of the A415 Abingdon Road and is allocated for residential development in the Vale of White Horse Local Plan Part 2, adopted in 2019.
The consented development will deliver 35% affordable housing, public open space and significant wider highways improvements including new and enhanced pedestrian and cycling infrastructure on the A415.
