Kevin Bacon is involved with Budweiser for a Super Bowl ad playing on the longtime six degrees of separation theory he’s linked with.
The veteran actor, 64, narrates a regional commercial that the beer company released Tuesday, which showcases each bottle in a six pack being distributed amongst different groups of people.
The Footloose actor in 1994 was the center of a popular and enduring game devised by three students at Albright College, in which people had to link other entertainers to Bacon via six or less costars.

Speaking to People, Bacon said he didn’t initially put together the connection when he signed on to do the spot.
‘It wasn’t until I actually saw the spot that I said to myself, “Oh, that’s right. A six-pack is six degrees of connection,”‘ he said. ‘I didn’t even think to myself, “Oh, of course, they’re coming to me.” I just thought they wanted me because of my voice.’
The Philadelphia native said of the six degrees theory: ‘I’ve always felt that the actual idea, which, by the way, existed many years before I was attached to it … is a beautiful concept. If you take me out of the game, we are all connected.’

Bacon said he appreciates the clear message sent in the spot: ‘I think it’s very clever to take that idea of a six-pack of Budweiser and use that six degrees concept.
‘I’m sure there’s Super Bowl ads where you go, “Yeah, but what were they trying [to sell]?” I don’t think this is one of them.’

Bacon told the outlet that the six degrees of separation is a recurring theme through life, giving an example of two strangers speaking at a bar at the airport.
‘If they strike up a conversation, they’re going to try to find connections,’ Bacon said. ‘They’re going to try to say, “Oh, where are you from? Oh, yeah. My cousin has a friend who’s from Des Moines.” That’s what we do. It is something that we are hungry for.’
The spot will air in certain markets for Super Bowl LVII, which will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on February 12, pitting the Kansas City Chiefs against the Philadelphia Eagles.

It kicks off with the Footloose star pulling up to a suburban home, just as Sosie steps out of the front door to come join him.

It has been claimed that the plot has a Grade-II listed lodge on it, an organic farm, cider orchard with 335 acres of land, a wine cellar and library.

The property was sold by estate agents Savills, reports the newspaper but Land Registry has only recently released the documents.

In the interview, Moffat promoted his West End play The Unfriend and said that he and collaborators have ‘just started talking about’ season two of his hit BBC/Netflix miniseries Inside Man.
Moffat said that the show, which features Stanley Tucci and David Tennant ‘performed quite well’ on ‘the enthusiastically-nodded-about graphs’ measuring public opinion.
The series, which casts Tucci as a convicted killer who solves crimes from jail, had an initial slow start on Netflix until it surpassed the five million mark on the streamer, the outlet reported.
Moffat said of the tabulations: ‘You don’t get a [ratings] number the following day anymore now you get an audience breakdown a month later.’
