Aston Villa continued their impressive run of form with a hard-fought 2-1 comeback victory over Tottenham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Villa slowly grew into the contest and levelled just before half-time through Morgan Rogers, who unleashed a stunning right-footed drive from distance that left Guglielmo Vicario rooted to the spot. It was a moment of real quality in what had been a scrappy, rain-soaked first half.
With the game finely balanced in the second half, Unai Emery turned to his bench – and substitute Emiliano Buendía made the difference.
