Chiefs’ Travis Kelce Talks Investment in Six Flags’ Cedar Point, ‘So Many Memories’

Travis Kelce turned back the clock to his childhood with his latest investment.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end announced on his Instagram page that he is investing in Six Flags, which is the parent company of Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, after merging with the amusement park’s previous parent company, Cedar Fair.

“So many memories from this place,” Kelce said. “Couldn’t pass up the opportunity to continue the tradition and make it even more special for the next generation of families!”

Kelce grew up in northeast Ohio and went to the park before he became an NFL star and internationally famous as Taylor Swift’s fiance, making this a full-circle moment for the 10-time Pro Bowler.

TMZ noted he joined forces with JANA Partners, and the investment group owns approximately nine percent of Six Flags Entertainment Corporation.

Cedar Point is widely known as one of the best roller-coaster parks in the country with 18 in total. Among those 18 are Millennium Force, Maverick and Steel Vengeance. The park also includes a water park and is right along the beach on the coast of Lake Erie.

Kelce surely attended the park during summer breaks in school, and he can do the same as an NFL player seeing how the sport is played during the fall and winter.

And now he can do so as a partial owner.
