Lily Allen and David Harbour’s New York City townhouse has hit the market for $8 million less than a year after the couple split.

The listing of the Brooklyn property comes amid the rumored infidelity that Allen, 40, appears to allude to on her new album, West End Girl (released on Friday, Oct. 24). The album is inspired by the breakdown of her marriage to the Stranger Things star, 50, and seemingly highlights the issues that strained their relationship

While they separated in February after four years of marriage, their N.Y.C. home — which was featured in a March 2023 issue Architectural Digest — was not listed for sale until Sunday, Oct. 26, according to property records.

The exes first purchased the property in 2021 for $3.4 million, records show, and they gave the five-bedroom, four-bathroom abode a full renovation in the years after. Carl Gambino of Compass currently holds the listing

As detailed in her new album — which she said features lyrics that are both “fact and fiction” — the “Smile” singer calls out a partner for the way they mistreated her in their relationship.

In the song “Pussy Palace,” Allen recalls the moment she seemingly discovered a number of items that were used for her partner’s affair while dropping off some of their belongings at their West Village apartment. She also questions whether the person is a “sex addict” after making the shocking discovery.

In the track “Madeline,” Allen confronts a woman who she believes her partner is involved with. She then sings about how a partner broke the rules of their “arrangement,.” And on “Dallas Major,” she sings about feeling like she was in an open marriage that wasn’t her choice.

Meanwhile, in “Sleepwalking,” she seemingly refers directly to the infidelity that caused a strain in her marriage when she sings, “But you let me think it was me in my head /And nothing to do with them girls in your bed.”

During Allen and Harbour’s home tour with AD, the former couple gave an inside look at some of the spaces in the abode they once shared together.

The tour began with Harbour playing out a scene in which an unexpected ex drops by. Opening the door he jokes “Oh god. What the hell are you doing here? I mean, last time I was single and I was living on the Lower East Side. I have a family now. Kids. I mean, this is so embarrassing. You look good though, come on in.”

When they made their way to the garden room, Allen made a joke about the room being a space where they could “argue.”

“We have this double-sided sofa which means David and I can argue, and sort of be looking at each other, and relaxing at the same time,” she says with a laugh.

Some of the album imagery for West End Girl appear to have been shot inside the home, including a shot for Spotify that Allen posted on her Instagram account, which features the same floral wallpaper and green couch seen in her garden room.

Other imagery shows Allen standing in her kitchen with groceries scattered all over the counters as she cooks something on the stove.

While speaking to British Vogue in an interview published on Oct. 17, Allen revealed her marriage did directly impact the lyrics on West End Girl.

“There are things that are on the record that I experienced within my marriage, but that’s not to say that it’s all gospel,” she said. “It is inspired by what went on in the relationship.”

Allen — who shares daughters Marnie Rose, 12, and Ethel Mary, 13, with ex-husband Sam Cooper — also opened up to the outlet about going to a treatment facility after her marriage came to an end.

A source previously told PEOPLE in February that the singer was “devastated and not in a good place” after the breakdown of her marriage. The insider added that their separation was “very hard for her and her girls.”

Allen and Harbour were first linked in 2019 and married in a Las Vegas ceremony in September 2020.
