The Gold Coast mansion, named The Estate, has been likened to a secret agent’s compound, fitted out with high-tech inclusions and luxury features like a gold-tiled infinity pool and basement garage with a turntable where James Bond’s flash wheels would be right at home.
It notched up more views on realestate.com.au than any other listing this week.
Former AFL player turned tech entrepreneur Brad Moran bought the property at 160 Tallai Rd, Tallai for $7m in 2021, seeking a passion project after landing $205m from the sale of his startup the same year.

Moran played for North Melbourne and Adelaide before launching retail-media venture CitrusAd in 2017. The company was purchased by French advertising giant Publicis Groupe.
Mr Moran and wife Alicia, both 39, spent four years transforming the already-flashy home into a showstopper with 10 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, listed for auction on November 28 with Kollosche agents, Michael Kollosche and Jamie Harrison.
The 2240 sqm main residence is joined by three self-contained guest houses, a 13-car gallery, golf-buggy network and 110m go-kart track.
There’s also a golf driving range, basketball court and an entire wellness wing.
Mr Moran said the project quickly tipped over into obsession, stating he spent “65 hours a week, every week for three years” on the development.
A father of three children aged 2 to 13, Mr Moran retired from AFL at 24 after a short playing career, partly due to injury but also the drive to chase new goals.
“When I first bought the property, it had scale but lacked cohesion and elements that I would consider modern-day ultra-luxury,” he said.
“I wanted to push every boundary of what was possible.
“The ambition was to make the property world class from an engineering point of view, but then also to make it aesthetically beautiful at the same time.”
Beyond the 10-metre glass façade, facial-recognition entry and a 24-carat-gold-infused water feature open to a line-up of extravagant features, including a Manhattan-style whiskey bar, 16-seat cinema, poker room, gym, yoga studio, steam room and dual hydrotherapy pools.
The 200 sqm master suite has 6m-high ceilings with a retractable starlight roof and an ensuite tiled with 65,000 hand-laid Bisazza mosaics.
Outside, the 18m heated infinity pool finished in black and gold overlooks the city.
