Amy Schumer Lists New Orleans Cottage for Sale

As reported by Realtor.com, Amy Schumer and her husband, chef Chris Fischer, are selling their charming yellow cottage, located right near New Orleans’ Bourbon Street. Cat Wilkinson of French Quarter Realty is managing the listing, which reveals an asking price of $1.25 million.

The Creole cottage was built in 1886, and completely renovated in 2022, in a process that restored many of the structure’s original details, per the listing. The house boasts two bedrooms, two bathrooms, 13-foot ceilings, original fireplaces, two covered porches, a courtyard, a pool, and a gated two-car driveway.

The listing describes the home as a “perfect blend of history, luxury, and comfort” and a “piece of New Orleans heritage, reimagined for modern living in one of New Orleans’ most iconic neighborhoods.”

It’s unclear if the family is buying a new house in New Orleans or bidding adieu to the city.

Amy Schumer Made Her New Orleans Cottage a Cozy Getaway

In May 2025, Schumer shared an inside look at her New Orleans cottage with a Homeworthy house tour video.

“I think people would be pretty surprised by how much pride and effort and specificity I put into my home,” Schumer says in the video. “I actually like being around beauty. And really drunk people,” she jokes, referring to nearby Bourbon Street.

In the video, Schumer shares that she and Fischer bought the house in 2021, and renovated it into their “dream, dramatic New Orleans hang” and her “dream come true.”

The video reveals a number of beautiful home decor touches, many of which she found in thrift and antique stores, including a stained glass window, a rolling library ladder, two hand-painted murals, an ornate bar and stools, and a heated Toto toilet and bidet.

Amy Schumer Is Also Selling Her Brooklyn Brownstone

In March 2025, Schumer put her Brooklyn Heights brownstone on the market for $14 million, per Architectural Digest. In July, Schumer lowered the asking price to $12.75 million, as reported by the New York Post. The house was notably used in the 1987 movie Moonstruck.

That said, the actress has no plans to leave New York City; she and her family are just relocating to Manhattan. She told the Wall Street Journalin March: “[Our son] got into a good school and we’re too lazy to commute 45 minutes to take our son to school every day.”
