Morgan Rogers extends contract with Aston Villa
Aston Villa have announced the contract extension of Morgan Rogers until the end of the 2030-2031 season.

The 23-year-old Englishman is capable of playing as an attacking midfielder or on the wings. Since joining in February last year, he has already made 86 appearances for the Villans, scoring 18 goals and providing 20 assists. With the club, he reached the semi-finals of the Conference League and the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Last season, he was even named Aston Villa’s Young Player of the Year.
Rogers explained that he feels completely at home at the club:
I feel at home here. The staff, the players, everyone is welcoming. I love playing football and expressing myself on the pitch. I have no reason to leave.
Before joining Villa, he was loaned out to Lincoln City, Bournemouth, and Blackpool, before spending a few months at Middlesbrough. He now has ten caps for England and recently scored his first international goal against Wales.
