Plans to build a new home next to an existing bungalow, 6 Scafell Close in Worcester, have been submitted to the city council.
The proposal would see the existing property’s garage and shed demolished in order to make way for the new house.
“The proposed dwelling would not appear out of character with what is a varied street scene, consisting of detached and semi-detached houses and bungalows, sited in different sized plots,” the plans state.
The application also says the development would be an “efficient use of land within the city”.
