Things starting to click for Kudus

Spurs are five points better off than Aston Villa in the Premier League but have been at their best on the road, rather than at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, while Unai Emery’s Villa had reeled off four straight wins in all competitions before the international break.

This is a tough one to call and the value could instead lie in the player markets, where Mohammed Kudus has attracted my attention to have a shot on target at evens.

That seems a generous price for the Spurs winger, who has become increasingly important with Dominic Solanke, James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski all absent.

Before the international break, Kudus scored and assisted away to Leeds United and, after a slow start to life at Spurs, he has managed shot totals of four, two, two and three in his last four matches.

In three of those four games he managed to get at least one effort on target and he is a value bet to do so again against Villa on Sunday.
