Aston Villa have paid the majority of Jadon Sancho’s wages since he signed on loan from Manchester United.
Amid concerns over PSR, the Midlands outfit had a low-spending summer, with transfer fees paid out for just two senior players.
Instead, Unai Emery and co. aimed to strengthen their squad via the free-agent and loan markets, including the addition of Jadon Sancho.
Sancho has endured a difficult spell at Villa Park so far, most recently being subbed off against Manchester City despite being brought on in the first 45 for the injured Emi Buendia.

How much of Jadon Sancho’s wages Aston Villa pay
Though his game time and contributions on the pitch have been limited, the winger is still costing Aston Villa a fair chunk of change.
When he arrived on September 1, the BBC reported that the Villans were guaranteed to pay 80% of the Englishman’s wages.
Capology reports that Sancho takes home £200,000-a-week at present, meaning Aston Villa are paying £160,000 of that sum.
Just over eight weeks have passed since the Man Utd loanee’s arrival, meaning he has already cost the club just over £1.28m.

Who is Aston Villa’s highest-earning player
In the latest set of accounts available, it was revealed that Villa’s wages-to-turnover ratio was 91%.
That is higher than the Premier League average, and despite sales this summer, it’s expected to be similarly high when future accounts are filed.
Currently, Sancho is the highest earner at Villa Park, with his £160,000-a-week salary £10,000 more than second place.
Youri Tielemans, Emiliano Martinez and Boubacar Kamara all earn £150,000-a-week, with Villa’s annual wage bill currently sat at £125,897,200.
