Jonny Taylor launches management and consultancy company Chalet 4 Management | Management

Experienced music manager Jonny Taylor has launched a new management and consultancy company, Chalet 4 Management

Taylor started his career as an intern at the Music Managers Forum (MMF) and was then hired by ATC Management owner Brian Message, where he worked across a broad range of artists.

He was later appointed to the management team for MOBO and Ivor Novello Award-winning artist Laura Mvula, managed by Kwame Kwaten.

When Kwaten left ATC to start his own management company Ferocious Talent, Taylor joined him and co-managed a wide variety of artists as well as setting up a successful consultancy company over the next 14 years.

I want this company to feel like a family and create an environment where the artists can collaborate and learn from each other

“These last few months have been the most exciting and fulfilling of my career,” said Taylor. “I feel proud to be in a position to start my own company and honoured to be able to work with such an incredible array of talent across a wide variety of genres. The relationship between an artist and manager is more important than ever and with the manager so deeply involved in every aspect of the artist’s career that partnership needs to be built on trust and respect.”

Chalet 4 Management’s artist roster includes Hak Baker, Caitlyn Scarlett, Maya Lane, Finlay C, Sola Guinto and ENNA.

“I want this company to feel like a family and create an environment where the artists can collaborate and learn from each other,” added Taylor. “I love working closely alongside my artists to ultimately help them achieve their career goals but also ensure they are enjoying the journey and are happy along the way.”

As well as consulting for various artists and managers, Taylor is also label manager at Point Blank Recordings, the in-house record label of the Point Blank Music School.
