Fisher German has promoted Erwan Harpin, who joined the firm last July, to Associate.
Erwan is part of the land referencing team that sits within the infrastructure consultancy department.

He has helped to implement a new data management system to improve its reporting processes to clients and is looking to expand the firm’s work in the land referencing team.
Erwan works on major projects such as new reservoirs and connecting pipelines through Development Consent Orders (DCO), solar farms, and hydrogen pipelines.
Erwan, who has 23 years’ experience in the industry, said: “There were two of us in the team when I joined and I have helped to build the team up to six people.
“Fisher German used to outsource their land referencing work, but demand was growing so it made sense to bring it in-house.
“I have been helping with the processes involved in the documentation aspect of land referencing so that we have a consistent way of working for every client and I’ve been involved in building our own Stakeholder Engagement Management System software so that the data is in the right format and everything is in one place.
“I want to help Fisher German become the go-to business for land referencing and to continue to grow our team.
“I have been really impressed with the friendliness and support of the partners since I joined Fisher German since they are really across all areas of the business and take a keen interest in our department which makes you feel valued.”
Joanne Ziemelis, Associate Partner in the GIS team, added: “Erwan’s promotion aligns with how quickly our new land referencing team is growing and is testament to how invaluable his experience in the industry has been and will continue to be for future team members.”
Erwan’s promotion is among 50 that Fisher German has made across all areas of the business following a decision to refresh its branding to position it as a pioneering, driven consultancy with trusted experts who share knowledge across the business and provide substantial added value to clients.
The firm has also updated its external branding to reflect a shift in mindset, a change in its growth strategy, and its future ambitions.
Many of those promoted have also been taking part in Fisher German’s Big 25 Challenge – an epic journey between the firm’s 25 UK office locations with a ban on motorised transport – to raise money for 25 different charities.
The challenge is due to end on Thursday October 30th as the team finally makes it back to its London office in the City after starting the journey in May.
Richard Benson, Senior Partner at Fisher German, said: “These promotions shine a spotlight on the very best of Fisher German and recognise colleagues who have worked so hard in support of their clients and the business.
“All our promotions align with Fisher German’s Grow Framework which helps colleagues understand how to drive their careers forward at the firm.
“I’d like to congratulate every colleague who has been promoted, which plays a massive part in ensuring Fisher German continues to build towards the future in all areas of the business.”
