A SPECIALIST residential property consultancy has been launched in Yorkshire.
Former CB Richard Ellis director Guy Titchmarsh has established Titchmarsh & Co.
The Leeds-based company covers the north of England and plans to offer its clients a niche service and inclusive residential offer.
Titchmarsh & Co will concentrate on consultancy, acquisition and disposal of land for residential development as well as seeking out investment opportunities.
Mr Titchmarsh has more than 13 years experience in the property industry, and has worked with clients including the NHS, Royal & SunAlliance and the National Grid.
In 2004 he established the residential presence for the Yorkshire and North Eastern division of CB Richard Ellis.
Mr Titchmarsh said: “I identified an opening in the market for a boutique residential consultancy as a number of national surveying firms are either scaling down or diluting their residential advise across the region.
“I know through recent experience that despite market conditions there are deals to be done and value to be added to sites belonging to both historical and new clients.
“These are not only in the open market residential sectors but also student and affordable housing as well as investment.
“Whilst we find ourselves in challenging times I believe this is also of strategic importance and I intend to exploit it on behalf of my clients whether buying, selling or promoting land, development and investment opportunities, ensuring that both now and when the market returns they are optimising their assets.”
