TRC Cos., a national engineering, environmental consulting and construction manager with its principal executive offices in Windsor, said it has acquired a Pennsylvania firm that specializes in building sciences and industrial hygiene.
TRC did not disclose what it paid for 1Source Safety and Health, based 30 miles west of Philadelphia in Exton.
1Source provides management consulting services in areas such as indoor air quality, asbestos management and safety. Its clients include companies and others in industries including power and utilities, oil and gas, transportation, real estate and government.
“With this acquisition, we are positioned to capitalize on 1Source’s expertise in environmental health and safety as well as their strong presence in Pennsylvania,” TRC CO Chris Vincze said in a statement. “This further strengthens our strategic growth strategy and commitment to our environmental partners and clients.”
TRC has more than 5,000 employees in over 140 offices in North America, the United Kingdom and China, according to its website. Based at 21 Griffin Road North in Windsor, TRC also has offices in Rocky Hill and Milford.
