Brendan Dierkes and Holly Crump, who own The Platinum Group at eXp Reality, wanted to operate their real estate agency differently by putting the spotlight on agents.
Dierkes said he and Crump named their agency The Platinum Group to allow for individual agents to build their names and brands inside the group, instead of being branded as working for Dierkes and Crump.
“A lot of team names are branded like the Dierkes Crump Group or something like that,” Dierkes said. “We really focused on taking a different structure with our team. A lot of other agencies are under the leader’s name, and the agents under them don’t really have much advertising. We have really focused on growing our team by letting our agents build their own business and brand. Not everything is not going through Holly and me. We wanted to focus on giving them their own identity in the business.”
Dierkes said he and Crump formed The Platinum Group in March when they both switched to using eXp Reality as their brokerage firm. He said the Platinum Group has six real estate agents and plans to add more soon.
The agents who work at The Platinum Group have access to emerging tools through eXp Reality, Dierkes said.
“We have a lot of AI-focused products that we can use to keep our paperwork straight and stay in contact with our clients,” he said. “We have some very cool design programs. We have a lot of cool programs we can use for marketing purposes, such as mailers for clients, social media posts, listings and that sort of stuff.”
