BEAVER DAM, Wis. — A mobile home in Beaver Dam has been considered a total loss after a fire Monday morning.
Firefighters were dispatched to the N8200 block of Kellom Road for a reported mobile home fire right before 10:55 a.m.
Police officers were on scene prior to the Beaver Dam Fire Department’s arrival, confirming two occupants safely evacuated. They also reported heavy fire involvement at the rear of the mobile home.
Fire crews conducted a search to ensure the residence was unoccupied and extinguished the fire. Crews remained on scene for roughly an hour-and-a-half to make sure the fire was fully extinguish.
The American Red Cross has been assisting the displaced occupants, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
