Men charged with selling drugs in Youngstown enter pleas in federal court


YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Two men charged in July with selling drugs out of a West Side home have both pleaded guilty to federal drug charges.

Victor Green, 52, entered guilty pleas before U.S. Judge Bridget Meehan Brennan in the U.S. Court for the Northern District of Ohio to nine counts, including charges of distribution of fentanyl, distribution of crack cocaine and maintaining a drug premises.

Jamael Pierce, no age given, pleaded guilty Wednesday to a single count of distribution of fentanyl.

Sentencing is Jan. 22 for Pierce and Jan. 26 for Green.

The indictment in the case charges Green with trying to sell drugs on Feb. 12, Feb. 25, Feb. 26, twice on March 12 and March 25.

Pierce is accused of selling drugs on Feb. 26.

A Walden Court home was used to sell drugs from February to March 25, the indictment said.

The indictment also says the government is looking to seize almost $41,000 in cash that was deemed to be proceeds from drug sales, as well as a 9mm semiautomatic pistol, a .40-caliber semiautomatic pistol and an AR-15 semiautomatic rifle.
