Russian-German record producer and DJ Zedd is selling his home of over a decade. Located in Hollywood Hills, a celebrity-filled neighborhood in Los Angeles, the property is on the market as of Oct. 10.

According to Zillow, the property was sold for $1.275 million in 2010, then for $1.415 million in 2013 and then it was purchased by Zedd for $3.9 million in 2014. He bought it after the success of his song “Clarity.” Now, over a decade later, it’s listed for $5.495 million.

“Tucked away in the prestigious Outpost Estates, this extraordinary residence offers a unique blend of organic modern style, breathtaking views and ample privacy. Perched above the street behind gates and up a long driveway, this chic and understated home sits on an oversized lot enveloped by lush landscaping, creating a secluded sanctuary just moments from both the Westside and the San Fernando Valley,” says the Compass listing held by David Kramer and Andrew Buss.

The four-bedroom, six-bathroom residence offers floor-to-ceiling glass walls and an open layout. The primary suite includes a spa-like bathroom, complete with a soaking dub and dual rain shower. There’s also a large walk-in closet. It’s all about indoor-outdoor living, as the chef’s kitchen has a pass-through window that connects to the poolside bar. The backyard also has a pool, spa, sundeck and firepit. Inside, there’s a glass-enclosed wine display right outside the professional-grade recording studio.

At the end of 2023, Zedd bought an eight-bedroom, 12-bathroom home in nearby Encino for $18.4 million, according to Realtor.com. The 17,500-square-foot abode also has a one-bedroom, one-bathroom guesthouse. We can see why he’s selling the Hollywood Hills property. It has a junior Olympic-sized swimming pool, a bowling alley, an art gallery, a theater and an outdoor sport court. What else could he possibly need — besides maybe a recording studio?

Before he scooped up this extravagant mansion, Zedd had another Encino mansion. According to Robb Report, he bought the property in 2021 for $15.2 million from then-couple Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner. Then, he sold it to singer Meghan Trainor for just over $17.1 million.

Zedd is currently performing at his Las Vegas residency at OMNIA Nightclub in Caesars Palace.
