The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company is scheduled to be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 to consider and approve the monetary benefit for the shareholders of the company. Tata Group company TCS is the Information Technology (IT) bellwether in the country.

IT giant has fixed Friday, January 19, 2024 as the record date for the purpose of determining the eligibility of the equity shareholders for the third interim dividend for the financial year 2023-24.
The company in a regulatory filing, said “a meeting of the Board of Directors of Tata Consultancy Services Limited is scheduled to be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024, inter alia to: approve and take on record the audited standalone financial results of the Company for the quarter and nine month period ending December 31, 2023; consider declaration of third interim dividend to the equity shareholders.”
“The third interim dividend, if declared, shall be paid to the equity shareholders of the Company whose names appear on the Register of Members of the Company or in the records of the Depositories as beneficial owners of the shares as on Friday, January 19, 2024, which is the Record Date fixed for the purpose,” the company said in a statement.

IT major is likely to announce dividend payout date and amount after the board meeting scheduled to be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024.
The company has had a dividend yield of 1.32 per cent in the last 12 months as per the current market price.
In the current financial year, the company announced dividend on two occasions in July and October, totalling to Rs 18. Prior to that, the company announced dividend on 15th June 2023 amounting to Rs 24. Earlier, on 16th Jan of Rs 8.
The counter settled in red in Tuesday’s trading session to quote at Rs 3,781.15 a share on the NSE, down by 0.79 per cent. In the last 30 days, the stock went up by 7.80 per cent.
